Restaurateur Sam Fox Joins the Highly Anticipated Robertson Plaza
Multi-Million Dollar Renovation – including Blue Bottle Coffee & New Craft Cocktail Bar, Bibo
Sam Fox Restaurants announced today it has signed a lease with Robertson Properties Group to open its first-ever California location of The Henry, a popular neighborhood American brasserie, at Robertson Plaza in West Hollywood. The Phoenix-based company, which includes restaurateur Sam Fox’s 16 concepts and 55 restaurants nationwide, joins new craft cocktail bar Bibo and celebrated specialty coffee roaster Blue Bottle Coffee as part of the multi-million-dollar renovation of the 100,000-square-foot, mixed-used complex. The Henry is scheduled to be completed by early 2018.
Step into The Henry and you’ll feel the buzzing energy of the neighborhood restaurant from morning to night, whether you’re grabbing coffee, lunch, after-work cocktails or dinner in the classic open-dining space. The craveable menu includes dishes such as the Quinoa Breakfast Burrito, Little Gem & Asparagus Caesar, Korean Style Skirt Steak, Skuna Bay Salmon, Short Rib Pot Stickers and Salted Caramel Rolls. The extensive coffee menu showcases the restaurant’s signature Forster & Burnett Coffee blend, with featured coffee drinks including the Go North and their famous Cold Brew.
The first and only other location of The Henry is situated on the ground floor just below Sam Fox Restaurants’ home office, also known as “Big Kitchen,” in Phoenix.

Need a place to gather with friends or work from home, away from home? We have nine other restaurants here and it’s a second home to my family. When the opportunity came for our second The Henry location to be at Robertson Plaza, we knew it was a perfect fit.”
Barricades are up and crews already have started work on the expansive 6,490-square-foot Robertson Plaza space, revitalizing and paying homage to the William Pereira-designed historic building. The space will include a warm dining room featuring deep evergreen banquettes, navy and gold-studded walls, a buzzy coffee bar for guests wishing to hang out or grab coffee to go, and a striking indoor / outdoor cocktail bar bringing a vibrant vibe to the other side of the boulevard. The restaurant will accommodate seating for up to 171 guests inside, and another 131 seats outside.
