Celebrity Riders Kickoff Their Weeklong Charity Motorcycle Ride at Kiehl’s at the Original Farmers Market at The Grove; Special Event Includes Check Presentation, Celebrity Meet & Greet, Complimentary Skin-Care Treatments and More!
Kiehl’s Since 1851, the internationally acclaimed purveyor of high-quality skin-care and hair-care products, is gearing up for its 9th Annual LifeRide for amfAR, a multi-city, celebrity, charitable motorcycle ride raises funds and awareness for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. Over the course of each year’s LifeRide, Kiehl’s riders take to the road to meet and educate the public, and raise funds to support HIV/AIDS research.
This year’s celebrity-studded charity ride is championed by various actors and influential celebrities, and will kick-off in Los Angeles on Monday, August 6th at Kiehl’s at The Original Farmers Market. The riders will travel over 310 miles down the coastline of Southern California through Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington, and Laguna before making their last stops in San Diego at on Friday, August 10th.
Following a pit stop at Kiehl’s Fashion Valley, the ride will culminate in an open-to-the-public finale celebration at Kiehl’s Westfield UTC. At the conclusion of the 9th annual LifeRide for amfAR, Kiehl’s will have ridden more than 12,000 miles since 2010, and raised more than $1.9 million in total for amfAR, funding ten cure-related research projects.
Attending celebrities include Gilles Marini (“Days of Our Lives”), Chris Salgardo (Kiehl’s President), Luke Wessman (Celebrity Tattoo Artist), Luke Wessman (Renowned photographer), Blake Scott (Influencer), Ongina (HIV+ Activist and LGBTQ Advocate), Gigi Gorgeous (Influencer) and more to be announced.
