Six years strong, Daniel Thompson, owner of Power & Industry’s “#IndieLounge” up at Park City’s Sundance Film Festival, was a success again this year. The #IndieLounge has become a hospitable safe haven for those promoting in the snow. This year Park City, Utah had major snow fall, but that did not stop promotions. All were buzzing around the film festival that the #IndieLounge was the place to be.
From January 22- 27, inside the cozy lounge was filled with producers, directors, celebrities, media and all around entertainment professionals looking to expand their influence. Sweet & Savory Waffles were provided daily for all to enjoy as well as Svedka Vodka, ABK Beer, Graffiti Wine, Monster Energy , coffee and New York Seltzer. The #IndieLounge was home to Maxim Magazine and Popwrapped media this year, conducting interviews daily.
Some wonderful talent that stopped by throughout the event were Don Cheadle, Penn & Teller, Missi Pyle, Harry Hamlin, KayCee Stroh, Jessica Parido, Gilbert Gottfried and more. Some of the #IndieLounge’s screenings and integrations throughout included The Green Fairy, Penn & Teller Junket with Harry Hamlin and director Adam Rifkin’ for “Director’s Cut”, Life & Style Svedka Vodka Party with a special performance by Nikki Lund, Horses & Heroes, Broadview University Panel, Sean Whalen, “The American Revival Party”, CTL + ALT + DLT, Bill O’Keefe’s “America is Still The Place”, Range 15, Latino Reel, “Catching Up”, “First girl I Loved”, and lastly Chris ” Tanto ” Paranto Q&A, intimate discussion on “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Bengazi”.
