Hailing from Santa Barbara, CA, Rori’s Artisanal Creamery opens its newest location in West Hollywood on Saturday, October 29 at 12:00 p.m. Serving artisanal and organic ice cream, owner and mastermind of the concept, Ice Cream Maker Rori Trovato, is responsible for every recipe. Focusing on small and perfectly balanced batches without relying on the power of industrial machinery, Trovato avoids boiling, sous-viding, grilling, injecting, or flambéing. Instead she focuses on the natural flavors produced from Straus Family Creamery’s organic milk, eggs and cream, combining with high quality and wholesome ingredients to enhance the taste.
Opening the new Rori’s Creamery location and excited to share her organic ice cream with the West Hollywood community, a longstanding campaigner and advocate for LGBT rights, Trovato says “West Hollywood has always been a location I’ve loved and I’m really looking forward to connecting with our new community. Serving the flavors I’ve handcrafted and I’m so proud of, it will be amazing to see new faces enjoying it!”
Located on the iconic Santa Monica Boulevard stretch in the heart of West Hollywood, the new scoop shop interior reflects a masculine, gentleman’s library. The result of Architectural Designer Janel Wright of Janel Wright Design working closely with Trovato, details include dark wood paneled walls, deep jewel tone oil paintings, mathematic equation and molecular structures, bookshelves, pendulant lights and an antler chandelier give the space a warm glow. A desk-like counter adds to the cozy and sophisticated library feel with plenty of outdoor seating as well.
Committed to using organic and high quality ingredients, Rori’s Creamery serves a highly seasonal, rotating menu consisting of ice cream flavors, sundaes, cakes, malts and shakes. Standout and unique ice cream flavors include Maple Pecan, Fresh Mint Patty, Salted Caramel, Cup O’ Joe Spinelli, Milk Chocolate Chunk, Malted Milk Ball, NY Strawberry, Lemon Curd, Root beer Float, Biscoff, Peanut Butter Chocolate Candy Swirl, Nutella, Honey Almond Crunch, John Martin, Brown Sugar Banana, Black Pepper Pistachio, Honey Lavender and Cinnamon Toast Cereal Crunch. With classic flavors available such as Vanilla Bean and Serious Dark Chocolate, all are accompanied by house made brownies, cookies, toppings and cones including Cobbler Topping, Honey Hot Fudge, Creamy Caramel, Nutella Cream Sauce, Candied Pecans and Wild Berry Sauce. Also offering a rotating assortment of vegan and dairy free ice cream options, Rori’s Creamery currently serves vegan Horchata and Pineapple Whip. To-go pints are also available in all stores.
