Global platform ROCK THE ELEPHANT® (RTE) will host its first fundraiser, A Night of Icons, in support of ELEPHANTS, RHINOS & PEOPLE (ERP). The event will be held at the prestigious Hotel Bel-Air on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 6:00 to 9:30pm, in collaboration with Groupelephant.com and Awesome Rocket Ship.
Donations from the event will fund ERP’s Project Hope and the Big Tusker Collaring elephant project. Groupelephant.com will fund a matching donation of up to $50,000.
The evening’s curated program will include both silent and live auctions, featuring unique luxury items and one-of-a-kind South African safari experiences and more.
Awesome Rocket Ship will present its “Virtual Reality Bar” at the event. This VR technology will showcase its customized Virtual Reality Pod that will allow event patrons to be immersed in a 360˚African elephant and wildlife experience.
For the intimate reception, a seasonal menu will be provided by world-renowned Wolfgang Puck who will serve local, organic and sustainable foods. The Night of Icons will include premium Black Cow vodka signature drinks, “Pink Elephant” and “Black Rhino”. Black Cow produces the world’s first pure milk vodka made in West Dorset, England. The evening will conclude with a performance by a special musical guest.
