On Friday, April 5, Pacifique, the new stylish Japanese-influenced restaurant in West Hollywood’s Design Quarter, hosted a cocktail party in celebration of the restaurant opening and a $25,000 donation to the foundation for the Aids Monument made by Pacifique owner, Tom Buttgenbach. The event was hosted by Pacifique along with LA-based writer/director Max Emerson and nightlife personality Andrés Rigal. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres from Pacifique’s chef Danielle Sobel including seared yellowtail with citrus ponzu and katsu sliders with karashi mayo and pickled cabbage. DJ Francesca spun throughout the night and guests sipped on a variety of cocktails from Pacifique’s talented bar team such as a margarita with mezcal, chipotle, hibiscus and lime and vodka-based libations sponsored by Ketel One Botanical.
