Frank and Jami Ostini along with partners Gray and Charlotte Hartley celebrate the Hitching Post Wine Tasting Room’s First Anniversary on Sunday, August 18th, 2019. Hitching Post Wines opened to the public on August 20, 2018, at 420 East Highway 246 in Buellton, located next door to the famed Hitching Post 2 restaurant. Hitching Post Wines is the first-ever tasting room from the Ostini and Hartley families and is complemented by offerings from The HP2 You menu of lunch and snacks for guests of the tasting room and picnic grounds.
Owner and Winemaker Frank Ostini states, “We waited a really long time to have a Tasting Room in the Valley and it’s been worth it! We invite the public to come celebrate our first anniversary with us and listen to some great music, enjoy some of our tasty Santa Maria BBQ and sample some of our wines. Plus we have a few surprises in store.”
If you can’t make it to this celebration in Santa Barbara County, there is a Hitching Post 2 pop-up taking place this Sunday, August 11th at LA WINE.

On Sunday, August 11 at 5 pm, LA WINE will host Hitching Post 2 for a one night only summer BBQ pop-up. Hitching Post 2 will be transporting their signature BBQ rig from Buellton, CA, to bring “hp2 to you” for LA Locals to enjoy on the patio of LA WINE.
