Everything you Need to Know
Pacific Design Center’s Fall Market 2016 MINIMALIST|MAXIMALIST theme takes center stage as top A&D pros deliberate the balance between restrained serenity and layered impact, interpreting these two opposing style philosophies and their current, evolving relevance shaping today’s interiors, architecture and product design. Additional showroom programs addressing collection debuts, design inspirations, American craftsmanship, licensing collections, design/technology integration and more define the Market schedule.
Throughout Fall Market, design innovators favoring environs monastic to multi-layered include Justina Blakeney, Hagy Belzberg, Jean-Louis Deniot, Peter Dunham, Ryan Jackson, Richard Landry, James Magni, Mauricio Oberfeld, Ron Radziner, Kendall Wilkinson and Ron Woodson in conversation with editorial authorities including Hearst Design Group’s Newell Turner, Design Media Partners’ Michael Wollaeger, Interior Design’s Edie Cohen and Luxe Interiors + Design‘s Lisa Bingham Dewart.
“We occupy a moment in time where design choices and style options have never been more abundant, allowing a continuum of possibilities to define new creative standards,” said Jeff Sampson, Vice President, Director of Marketing, Pacific Design Center. “PDC’s Fall Market narrows its lens focusing on the bold, relevant aesthetics of Minimalism and Maximalism, exploring the opposite ends of the style axis, their concurrent popularity and the artful equilibrium that connects these two extremes.”
