Next time you’re roaming around the Grove on a Sunday afternoon, be sure to check out The Whisper Restaurant & Lounge for the Careless Whisper – a new bottomless brunch program named after the WHAM! song of the same title. Expect a 1980’s style blowout complete with decorations, music from the era and guests are encouraged to dress in the style.
The menu includes $20 endless drinks that include Bloody Proud Mary’s (Vodka, House Spiced Tomato Juice, Dry Sherry) or Papa Don’t Preach (Sparking Wine with house-made Peach Puree) and dishes such as I Ain’t ‘Fraid Of No Toast with rustic bread, avocado, BBQ bacon jam, burrata and a fried egg; Chorizo Con Huevos Burrito with jack cheese, tater tots avocado & tomatillo salsa; or Bananarama Peanut Butter French Toast with fresh berry compote, vanilla creme anglaise and maple syrup. We recommend The Crocodile Dundee lamb burger with roasted jalapeno aioli, brie and cranberry has already been dubbed ‘award-winning’ by Plate magazine, or the Kiss My Shrimp n’ Grits with smoked bacon, aged white cheddar and poached eggs.
If you want slip in and out with your Wayfarer shades, you can enter and exit the eatery without from the side after valet parking without even entering the fray of the Grove, and they serve until 4pm for late risers.
