As a founding executive of JetBlue, Alex Wilcox is a veteran of the aviation industry. Currently he’s navigating the regional short-haul private aviation market on the West Coast as the CEO of JetSuite and parent company JetSuiteX. The brand began offering public charter service in April 2016 and have just announced an investment from JetBlue and a partnership with The Abbey in West Hollywood for The White Party in Palm Springs. Offering private jet travel for the price of a traditional commercial airline seat—with sequestered terminals, no long lines or stressful seat assignments—this service could soon dominate the future of the friendly skies.

Currently, JetSuiteX has daily scheduled service (except Saturday) between Burbank, the Bay Area (Concord in the East Bay) and Las Vegas. And in April we wrapped up our seasonal service to Bozeman, Montana, and Mammoth Lakes here in California. What’s been particularly exciting lately are the so-called pop-up flights we’ve been running for special events. In April, we had flights between Burbank and Thermal (in the Coachella Valley) timed with the music festival. We ran flights to and from Palm Springs for the annual White Party in conjunction with David Cooley and The Abbey.
