By West Hollywood Lifestyle

VH1’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race” costume display exhibit opened to the public this past Saturday and will be on display throughout June. Fans of the hit reality-competitions series and Pride attendees are invited to admire the glamorous costumes from Emmy-winning costume designer Zaldy. The display is located at 8382 Melrose Ave.
The space features 10 Zaldy-designed costumes worn by RuPaul and the drag queens during season 10 of “Drag Race.” The exhibit also offers an interactive photo-op area.
The display launched with a glitzy reception hosted by RuPaul, Emmy-winning costume designer Zaldy, season 10 judge Michelle Visage and Season 10 finalists Asia O’Hara, Aquaria, Eureka O’Hara, Kameron Michaels, Miz Cracker, Monet X Change, and The Vixen.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” earned a record eight Emmy nominations in 2017, including its first nomination for Outstanding Reality-Competition Series. The show took home three statuettes for host, costume and picture editing, earning RuPaul his second Emmy for hosting the groundbreaking series. Costume designer Zaldy also won his first Emmy in 2017 after two consecutive years of nominations.
With 10 seasons of showcasing humor, artistry and creativity, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has become the gold standard for reality-competition television. Tune-in on Thursday, June 14th at 8:00 PM ET/PT as the top four queens must write and perform a verse in a performance of RuPaul’s hit single, “American,” and guest on RuPaul’s podcast with Michelle Visage.
