Pride Weekend Celebrations in West Hollywood Will Affect Streets and Parking Regulations

Several West Hollywood Streets will Experience Closures; City Parking Structures will Offer Paid Parking

The City of West Hollywood and Christopher Street West will host the 2015 LA Pride Celebration in West Hollywood from Friday, June 12, 2015 through Sunday, June 14, 2015. Many thousands of people are expected to attend the Pride Festival.

Due to Pride events, the following streets and facilities will be temporarily closed:
• West Hollywood Park will be closed from 6 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015;
• West Hollywood Library will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015;
• West Hollywood Pool will be closed from 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 to 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015;
• San Vicente Boulevard between Santa Monica Boulevard and Melrose Avenue will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015 through 10 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015;
• Santa Monica Boulevard from Fairfax Avenue to Doheny Drive will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015;
• Streets one block north and south of Santa Monica Boulevard (Fairfax Avenue to La Peer Drive) will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015;
• Crescent Heights Boulevard from Romaine Street to Fountain Avenue will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015; and
• Norton Avenue (between Havenhurst Drive and Laurel Avenue) will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015.

The City of West Hollywood will suspend enforcement of permit parking for Pride Weekend from 4 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 to 7 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015. All metered parking will be enforced on Friday, June 12, 2015 and Saturday, June 13, 2015. Metered parking will not be enforced on Sunday, June 14, 2015 during the day of the Pride Parade. Attendees of festivities are encouraged to observe the boundaries of the City of West Hollywood; if parking occurs in the City of Los Angeles and/or the City of Beverly Hills, all parking restrictions must be observed.

Public Parking will be available at the following locations for a fee — $10 on Friday and Saturday; $20 on Sunday:

Hancock Parking Structure, 901 Hancock Avenue
Sunday Special Event Parking Locations:
Kings Road Parking Structure, 8383 Santa Monica Boulevard
Hancock Parking Structure, 901 Hancock Avenue
La Jolla/Havenhurst Lot, 1043 La Jolla Avenue
La Peer Lot, 623 La Peer Drive
Orange Grove Lot, 1114 N. Orange Grove Avenue
Spaulding Lot, 7718 Santa Monica Boulevard
Pacific Design Center, Melrose & San Vicente (Enter off of Melrose)

Pride Ride will offer a safe and convenient way to reach a destination in the City of West Hollywood during Pride Weekend. Pride Ride will follow a continuous loop along Santa Monica Boulevard between Robertson Boulevard and La Brea Avenue, with 15 stops in each direction.
