On Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Big Heart Event Productions is proud to introduce the I AM YOU (Young Out United) campaign fundraiser from 7PM – 11PM supporting the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s LifeWorks youth development and mentoring program at The District by Hannah An in West Hollywood. The I AM YOU Campaign Event is FREE and is a social media driven campaign that encourages members of the LGBT community to share their coming out stories to promote the message that our coming out experience unites us all as LGBT people.
The I AM YOU campaign fundraiser will be our largest fundraising event to date, creating a high profile atmosphere focusing on corporate contributions and engaging the attendees to support the I AM YOU campaign by sharing their coming out stories on camera and utilizing our social media wall to promote the message.
The Center’s LifeWorks program offers one-on-one, peer, and group mentoring opportunities for LGBTQ youth ages 12–24. The goal is to help LGBTQ youth to realize their goals and dreams with a safe space, positive and affirming role models, workshops, and activities that are fun and educational.
Key Features:

The I AM YOU campaign is a message that directly relates to all members of the LGBTQ community and its allies regardless of demographics. Every person in the LGBTQ community can identify with the coming out experience which gives the campaign the opportunity to reach a very broad audience.
