Pali Wine Co. has since grown into one of California’s premier wineries producing over 50 types of wine with 5 tasting rooms in Southern California, including: Funk Zone – Santa Barbara, Wine Ghetto – Lompoc, Little Italy – San Diego, Anaheim Packing District – Anaheim, and the newest, Arts District – Downtown Los Angeles. At each tasting room, they bring an authentic winery experience to the neighborhood while collaborating with local artists, performers, and restaurants to create a unique neighborhood experience. www.paliwineco.com

Porto’s Bakery & Cafe has been around since the 1960s, when our founder, Rosa Porto’s life took an unexpected turn when she and her family made the difficult decision to leave their beloved Cuba and emigrate to the United States. Out of a job, Rosa relied on her baking skills and began selling cakes out of her house for her neighbors and friends to support her family. When Rosa and her family arrived in California, they had only the clothes on their backs, Raul Sr.’s strong work ethic, Rosa’s exceptional baking skills, and a dream for a better life. Soon after, Rosa began baking and selling cakes to friends and family that had heard of her fabulous cakes back in Cuba. Within a couple of years, it was not uncommon to see a line of customers picking up cakes from Rosa’s small home. In 1976, Rosa opened her first official storefront, Porto’s Bakery on Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park, California. Porto’s has gradually grown into four existing locations in Glendale, Burbank, Downey, Buena Park and West Covina with a 6th in Northridge on the way! In 2016 Porto’s took the number one spot on “Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in the US.” In 2018, we were named one of the Top Ten Most Photographed Businesses in the US as well as one of the Top Ten Most Reviewed Businesses in the US Rosa’s recipes and high standards continue to be carried on by her family, reflected in her motto “quality is the number one ingredient in everything we do”. www.portosbakery.com
