If you’re looking for kimchi mac-n-cheese and a great Provençal Rosé to go with it, we’ve got the place for you. The former Stir Market on Beverly is now XO on Beverly run by Chef Michael Hung who is one of LA’s top talents. Last seen locally at Mama Lion, the Avalon hotel and Faith & Flower, Hung has found the perfect landing pad for his mix of Asian comfort fare. Lunch brings a selection of salads, noodles and rice but try one of the combo specials of pork belly bahn mi or a fried chicken sandwich with green coconut curry and a side of smothered corn on cob with smoked bacon and red tamarind curry. For dinner go big with something from the rotisserie or a plate with sea bass steamed in banana leaf or the quarter-pound cheeseburger with charred spring onion and kochujang mayonnaise.
