Evening ‘Fiesta’ will Take Place on Wed., Jul. 22 at the Community Clubhouse in Plummer Park
The City of West Hollywood and its Historic Preservation Commission will host an evening “fiesta” to celebrate the City’s 30-year-long efforts in historic preservation. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Plummer Park’s Community Clubhouse, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard.
The City of West Hollywood, which was incorporated in 1984, recognizes and values the importance of preserving its cultural resources. The City’s Current and Historic Preservation Planning (CHPP) Division works to identify and protect historic resources in West Hollywood. The City adopted a Historic Preservation Ordinance in 1989 and it has designated a total of 83 buildings that are designated historic and cultural resources.
