Owner/Founder of Plan Check, Terry Heller, invites locals to nosh on a takeover menu ($39*) of reimagined American comfort food amped up with Japanese and Korean flavors inspired by the bandmates’ heritage
WHAT:Kicking off Tuesday, May 2 – the end of May, Owner/Founder, Terry Heller of Plan Check Kitchen + Bar (Sawtelle, Fairfax, Downtown, and newly opened Santa Monica outpost)—L.A.’s fiercely-local comfort food eatery celebrating its 5th anniversary this year—joins forces with GRAMMY® Award-winning rock band, Linkin Park, to drop a limited-run Plan Check x Linkin Park Meal Pack ($39*) in honor of the band’s new album, One More Light, coming out Friday, May 19. The Plan Check x Linkin Park Meal Pack is available exclusively at all four Plan Check locations across the city through Wednesday, May 31 and includes a limited edition Linkin Park t-shirt, while supplies last.
Traditional Japanese aromatics, such as ponzu and yuzu, are featured throughout the feast as a nod to vocalist, Mike Shinoda’s Japanese roots, while gochujang and kimchi add a spicy kick in tribute to turntablist, Joe Hahn’s Korean background. - Ahi Tuna Tostada – jalapeno ponzu, radish, and avocado
